Job summary

ADP seeks an on-site IT Help Desk Technician in Colwich, Kansas to provide hands-on support for a diverse user base. You will de-escalate issues with a friendly demeanor and rapidly become an expert on new technologies while coordinating with IT teams.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting Windows/365, mobility devices, printers, and networking basics; handling end-user requests; and maintaining inventory and onboarding processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree in related field preferred.
• Experience supporting desktops at an organization of 100+ employees required.
• Knowledge of basic computer hardware, switches, routers and wireless required.
• Microsoft Windows client operating systems and related administrative tools experience required.
• MS Office and Outlook experience required.
• Networking, VPN, TCP/IP, and general networking concepts preferred.
• Management and support of cellular services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resolve support requests via office visit, telephone, or e-mail in a prompt, effective and courteous manner.
• Support end-users with laptops, desktops, and mobile devices, including Windows and Office365.
• Identify trends in user behavior and incidents for escalation and improvement.
• Maintain and execute recurring hardware/software maintenance.
• Process end-user install/move/add/change requests in line with licensing.
• Provide end-user support for company badging system.
• Coordinate with cellular carriers for mobility services and devices.
• Oversee IT projects with business leaders and manage inventory levels.
