Job summary

MetroSys, Inc. is seeking an IT Support Technician I to provide onsite end-user support across hospital and clinic locations in a regional healthcare environment.

You will assist with desktops, printers, peripherals, and basic network issues while delivering courteous, patient-focused service. The role includes installing and configuring hardware/software, supporting moves and changes, handling user accounts, and documenting incidents in the ticketing system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical training, vocational education, military training, or entry-level IT experience.
• Working knowledge of Windows 10 & 11, Microsoft Office, computer hardware and peripherals, and basic networking concepts.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to follow documented procedures and troubleshooting processes.
• Valid driver''s license and reliable transportation for travel between facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support for hospital and clinic personnel.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows, Office, printers, mobile devices, and basic network connectivity.
• Install, configure, and deploy computer hardware and software.
• Support workstation moves, adds, and changes.
• Assist with user accounts, password resets, and access-related requests.
• Document incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Escalate complex issues to senior technical teams when appropriate.
• Support IT equipment inventory and asset management.
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused presence in patient care and administrative environments.
• Travel to satellite facilities as needed to provide onsite support.
