Job summary

Alicat Scientific, Inc. is seeking an IT Associate to provide reliable onsite IT support and contribute to the stability and security of the IT infrastructure in a manufacturing environment.

The role supports end users, servers, and network systems with limited supervision to diagnose issues, implement solutions, and drive IT initiatives. The position requires 3–5 years of IT experience or an associate degree in IT-related field, strong Windows/M365 skills, and AD/DNS/DHCP expertise.

Qualifications

• The candidate has an IT or related degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and basic networking.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT support for Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, OS, app, server, and network issues.
• Administer Windows Server infrastructure, AD, DNS, and DHCP.
• Support networking, VPN, and remote access; document issues and solutions.
• Deploy devices, install software, patch, and manage lifecycle.
• Handle IT tickets with accurate documentation and follow policies.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements.
• Assist with IT projects and maintenance; collaborate with vendors.
• Maintain security and change-management practices; communicate clearly.
• Support production-floor systems as needed; participate in after-hours work.
