Job summary

Insight is seeking a Service Technician Flex W2 to install, repair, test, and service a wide range of systems and communication technologies at our Hanover Park, IL office. You will troubleshoot hardware, document activities for billing and compliance, and support depot programs such as Hot Swap and Repair.

This onsite role requires IT-related certificates, 2–5 years of IT support experience, strong communication skills, and a customer-service mindset. A+ certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of troubleshooting or IT support experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• IT-related certificate or diploma; A+ certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing hardware and peripheral issues using the most efficient, cost-effective solutions to minimize client downtime.
• Installing and testing hardware, ensuring everything works flawlessly and following any specialized instructions.
• Completing all required technical documentation for billing, product returns, and compliance.
• Supporting Insight’s depot programs such as Hot Swap and Repair.
