Job summary

Insight in Hanover Park, IL is seeking a Services Technician to install, modify, repair, test and service systems and communications equipment, including hardware, software configuration, cabling and networks. This onsite role offers $20/hr.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or 2 years related experience or equivalent.
LANs, WANs, PCs and messaging/server software experience required.
Ability to automate tasks using basic scripting techniques.
Ability to remotely manage devices and debug issues using knowledge base.

Responsibilities

Perform hardware and peripheral repairs and identify problems to minimize downtime.
Provide telephone support for a dispersed user community.
Install, test, and configure network and data communication equipment.
Other duties as assigned.
