Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an IT Service Desk Analyst for onsite roles in Livingston/Chatham, NJ. You will be the go-to resource for executives and staff, delivering local desk-side and remote support across Windows, Mac, and mobile devices, and assisting with AV setups.

This contract-to-hire position requires 3+ years in a helpdesk or IT admin, Office 365 administration, and strong customer service. You’ll manage incidents, document activity in the ticketing system, and escalate where needed,

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a technical helpdesk or network administration role.
• 3+ years supporting and administering Microsoft 365/O365.
• 3+ years of hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting.
• 2+ years troubleshooting Windows Server 2016 and later.
• Experience with remote support tools such as Bomgar.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and Azure AD administration.
• Experience supporting Apple hardware and macOS.
• Experience with enterprise mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Providing local desk-side and white-glove support for executives, staff, conference rooms, and office technology.
• Managing incidents, service requests, and escalations through to resolution.
• Delivering remote support for US and international locations.
• Supporting onboarding, hardware deployment, office moves, and onsite troubleshooting.
• Troubleshooting Windows, Mac, mobile devices, Microsoft 365, and standard business applications.
• Providing AV Level 1 support (rebooting, meeting assistance, etc.).
• Documenting all support activity clearly in the ticketing system.
• Monitoring trends in reported issues to identify recurring problems.
• Escalating issues and communicating with end users until resolution.
