Job summary

CompucomStaffing is seeking a Desktop Technician to join our client’s team onsite in Camden, NJ. You will support Windows and macOS, troubleshoot issues, deploy equipment, and provide end-user support with excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include configuring devices, managing incidents, and collaborating with IT teams on projects. Prior experience in a corporate environment and familiarity with AD and Microsoft 365 are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years desktop, deskside, or end-user support experience.
• Experience supporting Windows and macOS in a corporate environment.
• Strong hardware, software, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with configuration, deployment, imaging, and hardware replacement.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Teams, Active Directory, and common enterprise apps.
• Experience using IT service management/ticketing platforms (ServiceNow or similar).
• Understanding of basic network and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Ability to manage multiple tickets and priorities independently.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Experience with onsite support in enterprise environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional onsite, walk-up, phone, email, Teams and remote support.
• Configure, deploy, troubleshoot, replace, and maintain laptops, desktops, Macs, monitors, docking stations, printers, and other end-user equipment.
• Manage incidents and service requests through to resolution with documentation and updates.
• Support new-hire setups, workstation moves, hardware refreshes, and device replacements.
• Collaborate with IT teams on projects, migrations, and deployments.
