Job summary

Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is seeking an IT Service Desk Analyst I for on-site roles in NYC and Stamford. This 6-month contract offers a $32-36/hr rate, 40 hours/week, and on-site work five days a week.

Responsibilities include first-level tech support, hardware/software triage, ticketing, and documenting solutions while using Slack, Google Workspace, Office 365, Jira and Confluence. On-call rotation may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher (associate's or bachelor's in IT optional) or equivalent work experience.
• 2–3 years of in-person or virtual IT help desk experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts; familiarity with Windows/macOS and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with Slack, Google Workspace, Office 365, Jira, and Confluence.
• Experience using ticketing systems to track and manage support requests.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to users, diagnosing and resolving common issues.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking problems.
• Use ticketing systems to track and manage support requests and document solutions.
• Document issues and solutions for future reference.
• Navigate Slack, Google Workspace, Office 365, Jira, Confluence and other SaaS tools.
• Collaborate with team members and share knowledge.
• Be prepared to learn new technologies and systems.
• Occasionally work after hours or weekends for maintenance or on-call rotation.
