Job summary

Avantus in San Diego headquarters is seeking an IT Specialist to join the IT Service Delivery team. You will support endpoints (Windows, Mac, tablets, and mobile devices), administer applications, manage tickets, and handle user access.

You will collaborate with staff, vendors, and consultants to implement improvements, maintain documentation, and contribute to IT initiatives and project delivery. This onsite role offers room to shape IT operations and ensure business continuity.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows, Mac OS, and iOS devices.
• Familiar with cloud apps like ERP and analytics.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure AD, MS 365, Google Workspace).
• Strong ticket triage and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to work with stakeholders across business units.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT support for the San Diego office.
• Handle first-layer IT tickets with proper prioritization.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and enterprise apps.
• Coordinate with external vendors for IT assets.
• Use MDM and asset management platforms to track inventory.
• Maintain IT documentation and change management processes.
• Develop and drive IT initiatives with project oversight.
