Job summary

Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions is seeking a results-driven IT Service Delivery Specialist to oversee IT operations at Liberty, NC manufacturing facilities. This role emphasizes incident, change, and problem management to ensure alignment with production schedules and business SLAs.

You will coordinate patches and releases for MOM/Opcenter, collaborate with vendors, and provide weekly and monthly performance reports to plant leadership. Local candidates preferred due to onsite requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years IT support or operations experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to work at Liberty, NC location; local candidates preferred.
• Experience with MOM/MES applications (e.g., Siemens Opcenter) and integrations.
• Familiarity with incident, change, and problem management processes.
• Hands-on experience with system patches, configurations, or release planning.
• Strong reporting/documentation skills (Office suite, ticketing tools like ServiceNow).
• Japanese language skills is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and improve Incident, Request, Problem, Change, and Release processes; track and maintain performance metrics.
• Act as the primary IT liaison for plant operations on MOM/Opcenter, ensuring service priorities align with production schedules and SLAs/OLAs.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement configuration updates, patches, and releases for MOM/Opcenter and related integrations.
• Lead major incident response, including RCA, corrective actions, and executive communication; embed lessons learned.
• Partner with vendors and internal teams to gather requirements and deliver secure, compliant deployments.
• Translate technical architecture and change impacts into business-focused explanations for non-technical stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain a reporting framework (weekly operations, monthly service reviews).
• Deliver concise, business-relevant updates to plant leadership and executives.
