Job summary

Appathon is seeking an Application Support Engineer for Manufacturing Systems in Liberty, NC. This onsite contract role focuses on Level 2/3 support for Siemens Opcenter MOM and Ignition SCADA, addressing production issues and ensuring 24x7 operations.

The ideal candidate will troubleshoot interfaces, configure workflows, and support deployments while collaborating with IT, automation, and quality teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
3–5 years of application support experience in manufacturing.
Experience with MES/MOM, SCADA, or manufacturing apps.
Strong incident management and RCA skills.
Experience supporting 24x7 manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

Provide Level 2/3 application support for Siemens Opcenter MOM and Ignition SCADA.
Troubleshoot production issues related to apps, interfaces, and data.
Support manufacturing workflows, traceability, and work instructions.
Configure and maintain application settings and master data.
Collaborate with IT, automation, engineering, and QA teams.
Participate in deployments, upgrades, testing, and cutovers.
Develop SOPs and technical documentation.
