The ideal candidate will troubleshoot interfaces, configure workflows, and support deployments while collaborating with IT, automation, and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• 3–5 years of application support experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with MES/MOM, SCADA, or manufacturing apps.
• Strong incident management and RCA skills.
• Experience supporting 24x7 manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2/3 application support for Siemens Opcenter MOM and Ignition SCADA.
• Troubleshoot production issues related to apps, interfaces, and data.
• Support manufacturing workflows, traceability, and work instructions.
• Configure and maintain application settings and master data.
• Collaborate with IT, automation, engineering, and QA teams.
• Participate in deployments, upgrades, testing, and cutovers.
• Develop SOPs and technical documentation.

Application Support Engineer – Manufacturing Systems | Liberty, NC

We are hiring an Application Support Engineer – Manufacturing Systems for a contract opportunity in Liberty, North Carolina.

Position: Application Support Engineer – Manufacturing Systems
Location: Liberty, NC
Work Model: Onsite

Travel: Up to 10%

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2/3 application support for Siemens Opcenter MOM and Ignition SCADA.
• Troubleshoot application, interface, integration, and data-related production issues.
• Support manufacturing workflows, production execution, traceability, genealogy, and electronic work instructions.
• Configure and maintain manufacturing application settings, workflows, and master data.
• Support Ignition Gateway, Vision, and Perspective, including HMI screens, alarms, dashboards, and reports.
• Perform root cause analysis and support major incident recovery.
• Participate in application deployments, upgrades, testing, and production cutovers.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, technical documentation, and knowledge articles.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, automation, engineering, quality, and IT teams.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and process automation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3–5 years of application support experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience with MES/MOM, SCADA, or manufacturing applications.
• Strong experience in production support, troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis.
• Experience supporting 24x7 manufacturing operations.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong technical documentation skills.

Ideal candidates should have direct hands-on experience supporting MES/MOM and SCADA platforms in a manufacturing environment, with the ability to troubleshoot production-critical application and integration issues onsite.
