Forbes Technical Consulting LLC is seeking an IT Operations Specialist to provide Infrastructure & Systems Support in a 100% onsite, contract-to-hire role across Texas locations. The candidate will deliver Tier 2/3 user support, manage AD and Windows environments, and administer Google Workspace alongside ITSM workflows like ServiceNow.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration with IT and business teams to enhance end-user experiences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT end-user support, systems support, or IT operations.
• Experience supporting Active Directory and Microsoft/Windows environments.
• Experience with Google Workspace/Google Suite.
• Experience working with an ITSM platform such as ServiceNow.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Comfortable working in a 100% onsite environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to other locations within Texas.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support across an enterprise IT environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and system-related issues.
• Support users across multiple locations and provide onsite support at other Texas locations.
• Administer and support Active Directory, Microsoft/Windows environments, Google Workspace, and ITSM platforms.
• Assist with user account administration, identity management, and access-related processes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge-base resources.
• Participate in technology projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Follow IT service management practices and service-level requirements.
• Maintain accurate IT asset records and support asset management processes.
• Partner with other IT and business teams to improve service delivery and the end-user experience.
• Provide technical training and knowledge-sharing to business users when needed.
• Follow workplace safety and operational procedures.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve existing systems.
