Job summary

Skydio is seeking an onsite IT Operations Engineer to serve as the frontline for employee technology support at our San Mateo HQ. You will manage onboarding, offboarding, provisioning, and day-to-day tech support across Linux, Windows, and Mac, with strong emphasis on Okta and JumpCloud lifecycle processes.

The role requires 2+ years in a fast-paced office IT environment, a proactive problem solver with excellent communication, and the ability to balance multiple tasks while ensuring a seamless

Qualifications

• 2+ years supporting employees in a fast-paced office environment.
• Experience with Linux, Windows, and Mac environments and onboarding/offboarding.
• Experience with Okta administration including MFA, provisioning, and group management.
• Experience with JumpCloud or similar device management tooling and automation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for walk-up and ticketed IT support.
• Provide hands-on hardware diagnostics, provisioning, and patch management.
• Own onboarding, transfers, and offboarding, provisioning/deprovisioning accounts and devices.
• Administer Okta identity and access management and automation workflows.
• Ensure JumpCloud enrollment and device lifecycle from onboarding to redeployment.
• Manage equipment intake, purchasing, provisioning, and tracking.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and coordinate hardware refresh and repairs.
• Troubleshoot conference room and meeting space technology.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to improve workflows and document processes.
