Job summary

Skydio in San Mateo, CA is seeking an onsite IT Operations Engineer to own the employee technology lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, provisioning devices, and supporting daily IT needs across Linux, Windows, and Mac.

You will manage Okta for identity, JumpCloud devices, and hardware provisioning, while collaborating with IT and other teams to improve processes and respond quickly to walk-up requests.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• 2+ years supporting employees in a fast‑paced office with Linux/Windows/Mac environments.
• Experience with Okta administration (SSO, MFA, provisioning).
• Experience with JumpCloud or similar device management tooling.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary IT point of contact for walk‑ups and tickets across Linux, Windows, and Mac.
• Provide hands‑on hardware diagnostics, provisioning, and patch management.
• Own onboarding, transfers, and offboarding, ensuring seamless Day 1 for new hires.
