Job summary

KORE1 is seeking an IT Operations Specialist for a biotech startup, to join the team at their Menlo Park headquarters as the sole on-site IT presence. The role will transition with the move to Redwood Shores, supporting 40–50 on-site users and serving as the IT face of the company.

You will own the full Okta implementation, manage Google Workspace, Slack, Zendesk, and Salesforce, and drive onboarding/offboarding, asset management, and security/compliance initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; field of study flexible.
• 3–7 years IT support, systems administration, or IT operations experience.
• Startup or high-growth experience preferred.
• Experience in biotech, life sciences, or lab environments desired.
• Strong Mac and Windows support experience (≈60% Mac, 40% Windows).
• Experience with Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and SaaS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary IT contact for day-to-day support requests.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and apps.
• Provide exceptional customer service and timely resolutions.
• Lead onboarding/offboarding, account provisioning, and asset management.
