Insight Global is seeking a Senior IT Support Specialist to serve as the primary onsite IT resource for a manufacturing and laboratory facility in Wallingford, CT. This role supports office and production environments and partners with centralized IT leadership.

The ideal candidate is highly independent, delivers white-glove end-user support, and can quickly troubleshoot manufacturing systems, servers, and printers while prioritizing business impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT support experience in manufacturing or production environments.
• Experience supporting Windows endpoints, servers, and collaboration tools.
• Ability to work independently as onsite IT resource.

Responsibilities

• Serve as sole onsite IT resource for a manufacturing and laboratory facility.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, OS, network, and Microsoft 365 issues.
• Manage user accounts including Active Directory and Azure onboarding/offboarding.
• Provide hands-on support for manufacturing and production technology.
• Support Windows servers, VMs, and file storage.
• Maintain enterprise printers and imaging devices.
• Image and deploy laptops and desktops; document incidents in a ticketing system.
• Deliver high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment.
