Job summary

bdManagedIT is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician for an onsite role in Madison, Georgia. The successful candidate will troubleshoot Windows and Microsoft 365 issues, manage tickets, and communicate clearly with clients, following defined processes.

Ideal for someone with 1–3 years of hands-on IT support experience, strong documentation habits, and curiosity to continue learning. Occasional travel to local client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong Windows and Microsoft 365 troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with ticketing, PSA, or remote support tools.
• Ability to resolve Level 1 issues with limited direction.

Responsibilities

• Respond to phone, chat, and ticket requests from clients.
• Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, printer, password, connectivity, and common desktop issues.
• Take ownership of tickets and communicate updates through resolution or escalation.
• Document troubleshooting steps clearly in the ticketing system.
• Escalate tickets per SLA and processes.
• Manage Help Desk boards to maintain ticket flow and coordination.
• Perform routine health checks, patches, and maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with senior technicians and improve documentation.
