Job summary

Purposelink Recruitment is seeking an IT Help Desk professional to be the first point of contact for hardware and software issues in Ypsilanti, MI. This on-site contract role involves troubleshooting, answering inquiries, and guiding users to resolution while delivering strong customer service.

You will document interactions, perform fact-finding, and provide education to users. Must be available for off-hours on-call support on a rotating schedule and maintain professionalism.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher required.
• 2+ years of Help Desk experience.
• 2+ years of experience with Windows, Active Directory and Citrix.
• 2+ years experience with Office or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to all customer contacts, including phone calls, emails, and voicemails.
• Troubleshoot a variety of hardware and software issues.
• Ask fact-finding questions to accurately diagnose and resolve customer problems.
• Provide user education and guidance while assisting with requests.
• Document all customer interactions, issues, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude while delivering excellent customer service.
