McLane Company, Inc. is seeking an IT Operations professional to monitor enterprise system platforms, peripheral equipment, and batch job schedules in Temple, TX. The role involves supporting internal and external customers and acting as a primary contact for Operations support calls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Information Technology preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in IT operations, production support, help desk support, or related technical environment preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical customers.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and respond effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Basic understanding of system monitoring, job scheduling, and incident management processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives and resolves first-tier technical issues reported related to hardware and software on personal computing devices or supporting infrastructure.
• Escalates issues to second-tier help desk or MBIS to ensure timely productivity.
• Learns internal procedures for internal requests regarding personal computing devices and fulfills service requests.
• Assists internal technology users remotely with standard PC practices to meet specific needs.
• Identifies recurring issues and informs MBIS to evaluate design and resolution methods to minimize impact.
