Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Field IT Support Technician to provide on-site, hands-on technical support in our distribution centers around North Texas, including Dallas and Arlington.

You will help keep operations running smoothly with strong problem solving and customer service. The role requires 1–3+ years in field or desktop support, experience with desktops, laptops, RF and wearable devices, and basic servers and networking.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years in field IT support, desktop support, or technical support roles.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience with hardware and software in warehouse/operational environments preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Proficient with desktops, laptops, RF and wearable devices, and related peripherals.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site, hands-on technical support within distribution centers.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain desktops, laptops, RF and wearable devices.
• Support servers, network infrastructure, telecommunications, and related hardware.
• Partner with operations teams to minimize downtime and resolve issues quickly.
• Deliver excellent customer service in fast-paced, mission-critical environments.
• Document issues, solutions, and equipment changes accurately.
