Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in New Jersey is seeking a Computer Print Operator to handle first-level Help Desk tasks, diagnose issues, and route incidents when needed. The role supports distribution centers and requires effective communication and problem-solving under deadlines.

Responsibilities include monitoring network connections to ensure access to platforms, documenting incidents, and coordinating with second-level support as required. Full-time position with benefits starting after 60 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Understanding of computerized systems, technologies, software, hardware, etc.
• Ability to identify, diagnose and resolve issues through problem-solving techniques.
• Strong communication skills and understanding of immediate deadlines.
• 2+ years' similar experience.
• Reading, writing, and understanding English at a sufficient level for tasks and safety.

Responsibilities

• Answers incoming Help Desk calls providing first level diagnoses of issue.
• Records/tracks/reports incident to appropriate party if it cannot be resolved by you.
• Categorizes, prioritizes and assists each call to resolve any issue.
• Engages second level support as needed for time sensitive issues.
• Monitors and resolves network connections to the Home Office Data Center to ensure DCs can communicate and access platforms.
• Other duties may be assigned.
