McLane Company, Inc. in Temple, Texas is hiring an Infrastructure Engineer I to join our Enterprise Systems team.

The hybrid role requires office presence at least three days a week and candidates should live within a 50-minute radius of Temple. You will administer IBM Power Systems, manage security, perform maintenance, and support JD Edwards environments while collaborating with a small team to ensure reliability, performance, and disaster recovery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years administering IBM i environments.
• Experience with BRMS, MIMIX, FlashCopy and Robot Scheduler.
• Ability to participate in on‑call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain IBM Power Systems environments.
• Manage user profiles, security access, and system resources.
• Perform audit validations and support compliance tasks.
• Execute monthly tax updates and routine maintenance.
• Support high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance and outages.
• Provide production support for JD Edwards environments.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and after‑hours support.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate with teams to automate processes.
