Compucom Staffing is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver onsite technical support in Columbus, OH and surrounding areas. The role requires daily travel across an assigned route and supports multiple store locations.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year IT support experience, holds A+ certification, and can work with Windows/OSX/Linux, hardware, and networking gear. Strong customer service and documentation skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of IT technical support experience.
• A+ CompTIA certification required.
• Technical hardware experience required.
• POS, printers, thin clients, servers, and network devices experience.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building.

Responsibilities

• Understand AC/DC and backup power concepts.
• Manage triage, troubleshooting and resolution to client scope on IT equipment.
• Occasionally works at heights of 20' to 25', lift equipment training provided.
• Document efforts, issues and resolutions, close cases/tickets daily.
