Job summary

Compucom Staffing is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide onsite technical support in Columbus, SC and surrounding areas, supporting multiple store locations with daily travel across the route.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year IT support experience, an A+ certification, and strong customer service skills. You will document issues, communicate clearly, and deliver timely resolutions while able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of IT technical support experience.
• A+ CompTIA certification required.
• Technical hardware experience required.
• Net+ CompTIA certification is a plus.
• Field service experience preferred.
• Exceptional Customer Service and relationship building competence.
• Excellent time management and reporting skill.
• Familiar with Windows OS, OSX, Linux/Unix.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT support at multiple store locations and travel along the assigned route.
• Triage, troubleshoot and resolve IT equipment issues within client scope.
• Document issues and resolutions; update tickets daily.
• Operate safely at heights and complete required lift equipment training as needed.
• Communicate with clients clearly and maintain professional demeanor.
