Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking technicians in Bowling Green, OH, to install network equipment, switches, cabling, and IT gear. The role involves on-site hardware setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure reliable connectivity.

Qualifications

• Experience installing network equipment, switches, IT gear, patch panels and cabling.
• Ability to troubleshoot and provide on-site IT support in a contract role.
• Respond promptly to after-hours calls and messages.
• Document daily work to build complete customer history.

Responsibilities

• Management of IT infrastructure - Hardware setup, customer network support, Endpoint support in field
• Troubleshoot and support all IT connected devices
• Remediate Security vulnerabilities and perform/request appropriate action from respective items/teams
• Collaborate with Operations across multiple groups to meet current and future continuous improvement project goals
• Ability to assist with deploying/troubleshooting networking solutions on premise, cloud, or hybrid.
• Provide Technical support and on-site troubleshooting/repair for customers
• Responding to phone calls and texts after hours and on weekends within a timely manner
• Experience and Skills in documenting all work performed daily to build complete customer work history
