Job summary

United Data Technologies, Inc. in Tampa, FL is seeking a Field Technician to provide on-site and remote technical support across network infrastructure, end-user devices, and related IT equipment within a Managed Services environment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on troubleshooting skills, strong communication, and the ability to work independently at multiple customer sites while maintaining professionalism. Associate degree preferred; 2–5 years' IT support experience expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• 2–5 years of IT support, field services, or managed services experience.
• Hands-on troubleshooting Windows, printers, networking, VoIP, and mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and basic network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and end-user issues promptly.
• Support Windows workstations, M365, AD basics, wireless connectivity, VoIP devices and peripherals.
• Perform installations, replacements, upgrades, moves, adds, and changes for customer environments.
• Document work, configurations, and resolutions in PSA/ticketing system.
