Job summary

Atos is seeking a Field Technician to provide on-site and remote technical support for hardware, software, and network systems. You will install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot equipment while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction across customer sites.

The role requires traveling to client locations, maintaining asset records, and following ITIL-aligned processes. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree, technical certification, or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of desktop support, field services, or technical support.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, device management tools, and ticketing systems.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for network, server and peripheral equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues.
• Perform equipment installation, configuration, upgrades, and replacements.
• Troubleshoot wired network connectivity issues.
• Travel to customer sites for break-fix services, deployments, and technology refresh initiatives.
• Provide hands-and-eyes support for infrastructure, server, and network teams.
• Maintain accurate records of hardware inventory and asset assignments.
• Coordinate device receiving, deployment, collection, and disposal activities.
• Ensure compliance with asset management and security policies.
• Deliver professional and responsive support to end users and stakeholders.
• Escalate unresolved issues and follow through to resolution.
