Job summary

Akkodis is seeking an IT Field Technician to deliver hands-on technology support across multiple locations in the region. The role covers desktops, laptops, peripherals, printers, user accounts, connectivity, and Microsoft 365, with occasional travel to satellite sites.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in IT support and strong troubleshooting skills, including Active Directory and DHCP. Travel approximately every 4–6 weeks is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of desktop support, field services, or hands-on IT support.
• Experience with Active Directory and DHCP environments.
• Broad troubleshooting across hardware, software, user access, peripherals, and connectivity.
• Hands-on hardware issues handling (e.g., laptop screen replacement).
• Ability to work across multiple IT support areas, not siloed.
• Willingness to travel to territory locations every 4–6 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive desktop and end-user technical support at multiple locations.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with laptops, desktops, peripherals, and devices.
• Install, configure, and support Microsoft 365 and business applications.
• Troubleshoot printers and related hardware.
• Image, configure, deploy, replace, and retire computing equipment.
• Investigate network connectivity problems and perform initial troubleshooting.
• Support Microsoft 365 email and related services.
• Assist users with RingCentral phone services during migration from Mitel.
• Manage user access, login support, password resets, and security permissions.
• Escalate advanced issues to Tier II and collaborate for resolution.
