Job summary

Impact Networking is seeking an IT Field Engineer to perform onsite IT support, maintenance, and project execution at client locations. You will diagnose and resolve issues across Windows Server, Hyper‑V, VMware, AD, and cloud services, collaborating with internal teams to ensure high-quality client outcomes.

Role requires travel to local customer sites, strong customer service, and ongoing professional development through manufacturer certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of IT field services experience.
• Experience with Windows Server 2012-2025 and virtualization.
• Active Directory management and maintenance.
• Knowledge of DNS/DHCP, remote desktop services, and networking fundamentals.
• Familiarity with cloud services (Office 365, Azure, G‑Suite).
• Strong communication and customer-service focus.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite IT service, maintenance, and project execution at client sites.
• Assist in setup and troubleshooting of Windows Server, Hyper‑V, VMware, Exchange, and SharePoint.
• Collaborate with Service Desk and Operations to create maintenance plans and documentation.
• Work with vendor tools and client LoB vendors on technical requirements.
• Document issues and onsite labor in Impact’s ticket system.
• Pursue manufacturer certifications and contribute to knowledge sharing.
• Maintain relationships with customers and vendor contacts for business impact.
