Job summary

MBH Architects seeks a detail oriented Desktop Administrator to join the IT Team in our New York City Office. You will provide IT support on-site and virtually to end-users locally and globally, with a requirement for on-site presence five days a week.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, deploying new hires, software updates, asset management, AV support for meetings, and maintaining security protocols. MBH offers strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience managing IT helpdesk ticket lifecycles and prioritizing requests.
• Direct experience with ITSM or Service Desk systems to track and report IT tasks.
• Excellent customer service and ability to communicate technical solutions clearly.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office 365 administration (Outlook, Teams).
• Hands-on experience with disk imaging and automated OS deployment.
• Ability to document technical processes in clear user guides and SOPs.
• Experience with MacOS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot software and hardware end-user issues via ticketing system.
• Push routine software updates and patches for PC and Mac.
• Deploy equipment, software, and server access for new hires; lead onboarding.
• Offboard employees by revoking access and updating security protocols.
• Manage workspace logistics, moves, and ergonomic equipment.
• Procure and manage IT supplies; maintain real-time inventory.
• Prepare AV capabilities and support firm-wide presentations.
• Lift items up to 30 lbs and access areas under desks as needed.
