Apex Systems is seeking Deskside Support Installation Technicians for an onsite, travel‑required role in Redding, CA. This contract position covers a nationwide IT device refresh for corporate employees, with potential conversion to permanent employment after the project.

Responsibilities include installing devices, basic troubleshooting, user training, and coordinating with sites. Candidates should be travel‑capable with reliable transportation and strong communication and customer service

Qualifications

• It support and hardware installation experience preferred.
• Ability to learn new systems quickly and adapt to processes.

Responsibilities

• Install and integrate laptops, printers, scanners, workstations, routers and switches.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and problem resolution during installations.
• Educate end users on new systems and equipment.
• Clean up materials and prepare legacy devices for pickup and shipment.
• Provide professional, customer-focused support at all locations.
• Training will be provided.
