Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking a skilled IT support technician to work on-site in Santa Clara, CA. You will handle desktops, laptops, and tablets, install and troubleshoot Windows OS and Office 365, and support basic networking under IT supervision.

Role involves asset management, imaging, data transfer, and occasional travel to local sites; requires own transportation and a valid driver’s license. High school diploma with 1–2 years of relevant experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma; 1–2 years of PC hardware upgrades, support, installation and deployment.
• Direct client interaction experience is required.
• Experience supporting Windows 10/11 and Office 365 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and manage computing assets and move equipment between facilities.
• Stage equipment for build and imaging activities.
• Deploy, replace, and troubleshoot PC hardware and software.
• Perform data transfer and recovery processes.
• Resolve basic network issues and provide e‑mail administration.
• Update asset management systems and prepare assets for disposition.
• Travel to local sites as required.
