TEKsystems is hiring a Deployment Technician to support end-user hardware deployments in the Minneapolis area. The role focuses on imaging, SCCM-driven deployments and Windows 11 migration support across metro locations.

The contractor will work onsite in Saint Paul, MN, joining a team handling enterprise projects and device refreshes with opportunities to gain hands-on experience in a large IT environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT professional with hardware deployment focus.
• Experience Windows 11 migration and imaging using standard tools.
• Contract role; first shift; based in Saint Paul, MN with onsite work.

Responsibilities

• Image and deploy laptops and desktops using SCCM.
• Install and configure software, including reinstallation of licensed apps.
• Support Windows migration using SCCM and Autopatch.
• Troubleshoot login issues, driver problems, and peripheral malfunctions.
• Assist users with Windows 11, SharePoint, Teams and self-service tools.
• Update asset records in ServiceNow and retire old equipment.
• Follow documented processes and suggest improvements.
• Support project rollouts and refresh efforts across locations.
• Install large format displays and headless systems.
• Collaborate with IT teams to deploy standard configurations.
• Other duties as required by supervisor or senior staff.
