Job summary

AET Federal is seeking an experienced IT Coordinator based out of Scoville, Idaho to serve as the on-site IT point of contact for the Idaho Branch Office, providing hands-on IT support, coordinating with NR IT and NNL IT, and keeping equipment, tickets, and telecom services running smoothly for the site.

You will maintain IT knowledge bases, track assets and tickets, support software and connectivity, and deliver weekly progress briefings to IT managers, while aligning with cross-team IT staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of relevant IT experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE 'L' access authorization (Required).
• On-site work in Scoville, Idaho on a four 10-hour day schedule (Required).
• Experience in IT ticketing/SLA environments (Remedy or similar).
• Microsoft certification or proficiency in Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide general IT support across locations; handle onboarding/offboarding IT actions.
• Maintain a knowledgebase of hardware/software for maintenance and refresh cycles.
• Asset tracking and documentation of IT projects and tickets.
• Coordinate approval, installation, configuration, and ongoing support of software.
• Resolve connectivity and configuration issues of non-enterprise systems.
• Monitor Remedy tickets and address SLA commitments.
• Support telecommunications needs (voice, data, video) for staff.
• Coordinate IT support for project requests and suggest efficiency improvements.
• Maintain and update IT task/project tracking documentation.
• Deliver weekly progress briefings to IT managers.
• Interface with NRLO IT and NNL IT to align on tasks and priorities.
• Develop, maintain IT policies, processes, and procedures.
