Job summary

NPAworldwide in San Francisco is seeking an experienced IT Asset & Technology Manager to lead day-to-day and strategic management of software, hardware, licenses, and contracts across the organization. This onsite role requires strong operational discipline and collaboration with IT, procurement, and business units.

You will establish asset management processes, ensure licensing compliance, optimize spend, and maintain visibility into the full asset lifecycle. Travel 30% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of experience in IT asset management, software asset management, hardware asset management, IT operations, or a closely related role.
• 2+ years of experience managing staff, teams, or distributed IT resources.
• Strong knowledge of IT hardware, software, licensing, contracts, and asset lifecycle management.
• Hands-on asset management professional with strategic thinking.
• Excellent written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with ITSM practices and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Manage lifecycle of IT hardware, software, licenses, contracts, and related assets.
• Ensure assets remain accurate, compliant, and reliable.
• Develop and execute asset management processes.
• Design and improve asset management procedures and workflows.
• Monitor software licensing and contractual obligations.
• Partner with procurement to optimize technology spending.
• Maintain databases for hardware, software, licensing, and maintenance.
• Develop KPI reporting for management.
• Collaborate with IT resources to support asset management.
• Establish documentation for asset and configuration processes.
• Identify asset performance trends and recommend improvements.
• Help manage budgets and costs for IT assets.
• Support vendor management activities.
• Promote consistent asset practices across units.
• Travel 30%.
