Job summary

Optimized IT is seeking a skilled Help Desk Support Technician focused on IT asset procurement, budgeting, and documentation for Optimized IT and clients. You will collaborate with Sales, Service, and Administrative teams to ensure effective asset management and licensing compliance.

The role includes coordinating purchases, maintaining contract data, reviewing bids, and arranging replacements for defective equipment, with a hybrid work setup and a focus on accurate asset records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Experience in asset management, software licensing, and vendor negotiation.
• Ability to review bids, quotes and proposals and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with purchasing and managing IT assets, licenses, and warranties.
• Maintain vendor contract data and pricing information; coordinate renewals.
• Negotiate with vendors for best pricing and future purchases.
• Coordinate with IT, Sales, Service and Admin teams for asset needs.
