Job summary

MSC Industrial Supply Co. is seeking a Sr. Solutions Service Specialist to deliver on-site service for inventory management. You will manage ControlPoint solutions like VMI, vending, Onsite, and storeroom programs, while supporting replenishment, 6S practices, and customer engagement.

You will collaborate with sales to grow solutions and retain customers, use multiple systems, and uphold safety and MSC standards. 80%+ travel and driving may be required.

Qualifications

2+ years in customer service, telesales, outside sales, storeroom or inventory management.
Strong customer engagement and communication skills.
Knowledge of MSC solutions and services is a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage MSC ControlPoint Solutions (VMI, vending, Onsite, storeroom).
Perform product put-away, order management and inventory optimization.
Use SAP/AS400/Salesforce/Tableau and other systems for data and service delivery.
Communicate with customer personnel to resolve issues and retain customers.
Drive solution expansion and customer retention with sales collaboration.
Log activities in Salesforce and maintain inventory accuracy.
Lead repair and maintenance of vending equipment to standards.
Mentor junior associates and promote MSC culture.
