Job summary

MSC Industrial Supply Co. is seeking a Sr. Solutions Service Specialist to deliver on-site service for MSC's inventory management solutions. You will manage VMI, vending, onsite, and storeroom programs while supporting replenishment, 6S, and lean practices. Strong communication will be key to customer retention and growth.

You will collaborate with sales to drive expansion, mentor junior staff, and ensure satisfaction across service accounts. Travel and driving may be required to cover locations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in customer service, telesales, outside sales, storeroom or inventory management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of MSC solutions, products, and services.

Responsibilities

• Manage MSC ControlPoint Solutions including VMI, vending, onsite, and storeroom programs.
• Perform product put-away, order management, and inventory optimization.
• Utilize SAP, AS400, ASI, Vending Portal, Salesforce and Tableau to support customers.
• Resolve customer issues with proactive problem solving and professional communication.
• Promote customer loyalty through solution support and CARE program execution.
• Log daily activities in Salesforce and maintain 6S standards.
