Job summary

Avantor in Melbourne, FL seeks an Inventory Coordination professional to support lab and production services. You will coordinate daily assignments, manage inventory, and generate reports while aligning with customer needs and safety standards.

The role requires 3+ years in inventory or warehouse operations, ERP experience (SAP/Oracle), and strong Excel skills. This on-site position offers health benefits, PTO, and growth opportunities within Avantor.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience: 3+ years in inventory management, material handling, or warehouse operations; 1 year in coordination or team-support.
Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP MM, Oracle or equivalent) for inventory, purchasing and reporting.
Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and Outlook.
Experience with FIFO, FEFO, lot tracking, expiration management and cycle counting.
Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma tools and hazardous materials regulations.

Responsibilities

Coordinate daily work assignments across bands Associates based on priorities and deadlines.
Balance workloads during peak periods and monitor task completion.
Generate and manage purchase requisitions and ERP data as needed.
Track KPIs and inventory accuracy; prepare operational reports for stakeholders.
Support continuous improvement and onboarding of new team members.
