Job summary

Avantor's Melbourne, FL site seeks an inventory professional to support lab and production services. You will coordinate daily tasks, manage stock levels, and drive operational reports to improve service levels and accuracy.

Qualifications include 3+ years in inventory or warehouse roles, ERP proficiency (SAP/Oracle), and strong Excel skills. Experience with barcode scanning and cycle counts is preferred. This role offers competitive benefits and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate/bachelor preferred in supply chain or related field.
• 3+ years in inventory management, material handling or warehouse ops.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP MM, Oracle) for inventory and reporting.
• Proficient in Excel and Outlook; strong data reporting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily work assignments and balance workloads across the team.
• Monitor task completion and address bottlenecks in real time.
• Coordinate sourcing of consumables and manage purchase requisitions.
• Track KPI metrics and generate operational reports.
• Ensure FIFO/FEFO, lot tracking and cycle counting compliance.
