Job summary

Vallen Distribution in Des Moines, IA is seeking an Integrated Supply Site Manager to lead a on-site team within a customer location, drive program growth, and ensure positive and profitable relationships that meet Vallen's financial goals.

You will oversee staffing, coach and discipline associates, manage P&L, deliver cost savings, and ensure timely payments under contract terms, while maintaining compliance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of outside or inside experience in supply chain management, wholesale distribution, industrial distribution, manufacturing, or a similar industry.
• Preferred 2+ years of staff management with a proven track record as a team leader.
• Strong ability to develop and cultivate customer relationships.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to recognize manufacturing applications to deliver cost savings.
• Solid financial acumen and ability to interpret P&L expectations.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) and ability to learn company programs.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership to onsite customer teams providing Integrated Supply solutions.
• Staff management duties including interviewing, hiring, coaching, and enforcing policies.
• Manages local P&L to achieve budgeted goals and profitability.
• Drives contractual commitments and customer cost savings at the site.
• Ensures timely payments and strong customer service with internal/external stakeholders.
