Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an Installation Coordinator to organize and schedule installers and subcontractors for timely installations. You will manage the process from first contact to contract close, ensuring site readiness and accurate paperwork.

You will contact customers within 48 hours of booking, coordinate internal teams, track materials, and maintain the Installation Portal. A fast-paced, detail-oriented approach with strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate in a professional business manner.
• Preferred - Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications (Especially Outlook and Excel).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining composure and focus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate installers and subcontractors to schedule and complete installation jobs from first contact to contract close.
• Make initial contact with each customer within 48 hours of job booking.
• Communicate with internal and external customers to ensure site readiness and progress.
• Coordinate and schedule technicians and subcontractors using scheduling software to ensure timely installation.
• Create job packets with installation details and forms for installers.
• Track delivery of materials and update Installation Portal.
• Close out installations and maintain clear cross-department communication.
• Backup for Material Handler as needed; ensure EHS documentation.
• Assist with other administrative tasks as directed by supervisor.
• Collaborate with Sales and Account teams to address installation concerns.
