You will handle phones, video visitation, tablets, and related network equipment while maintaining high standards of customer service and timely issue resolution.

The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, data entry, and strong communication with facility staff, customers, and partners. A background in telecom installation and repair is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with inmate telecom systems (phones, video visitation, Wi‑Fi), installation, repair and troubleshooting.
• Ability to install and repair computer/network components and related hardware.
• Strong communication skills and background-screen clearance required.
• Knowledge of fiber optic cabling and basic network bandwidth concepts is a plus.
• Proven ability to work independently in a correctional facility setting.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, correcting, and servicing issues with inmate technology systems.
• Maintain, repair, and operate onsite telecommunications hardware, networking hardware/software, access points, and wiring.
• Address basic telephone repair and maintenance needs of the facility.
• Meet service requirements as per customer contract.
• Build and maintain relationships with facility personnel, customer contacts, vendors, and contractors.
• Monitor time and control service-related expenses.
• Deliver services promptly to ensure optimal system performance.
• Provide onsite instruction and training for site personnel as needed.
