Job summary

Local Infusion is seeking an Insurance & Intake Coordinator—an “Infusion Guide”—to support referral and intake coordination with a patient-centered approach. You will focus on authorizations, financial counseling, and liaising with providers to ensure timely treatment.

The role emphasizes insurance expertise, familiarity with EHR systems, and strong customer service, with a Monday–Friday schedule, onsite in Kissimmee, FL. Salary starts at $25/hour plus quarterly bonuses and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have health care industry experience and familiarity with medical terminology.
• Prior authorization experience in medical insurance is required or preferred.
• Experience using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems is essential.
• Experience in infusion settings is desirable and beneficial.
• Ability to quickly learn new apps and software used for intake and insurance processing.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of the infusion referral process, including authorizations and financial counseling.
• Coordinate intake and communicate with referring providers and patients.
• Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation in the EHR system.
• Provide excellent customer and physician customer service to support care teams.
