Job summary

Local Infusion in Kissimmee, FL is seeking an Insurance & Intake Coordinator to support referrals, authorizations, and patient care at our Onsite center.

This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., with a starting salary of $25 per hour plus quarterly bonuses and full benefits. The Infusion Guide will train for six weeks and work closely with clinicians and providers to ensure excellent patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Health care experience is required.
• Infusion experience preferred.
• Experience with insurance pre-authorization is needed.
• Medical terminology proficiency.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Handle infusion referral process including authorizations and benefit investigations (30-60 words).
• Liaise with referring providers to obtain documentation and update patient status.
• Communicate referral process and status clearly to patients.
• Coordinate with referring/prescribing providers to ensure smooth treatment flow.
• Maintain medical inventory and office supplies; support training readiness.
