Job summary

Pitney Bowes Presort Services in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a 3rd shift role. The position is onsite with a pay range of $30-$40 per hour and overtime opportunities.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing complex industrial machinery, PLC systems, and conveyor equipment, along with preventive maintenance and quick response to breakdowns. Candidates should have 2+ years of hands-on experience and strong schematic reading skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' direct experience troubleshooting and repairing complex industrial mechanical equipment.
• Strong familiarity servicing conveyor machines and PLC systems, and other electromechanical production equipment.
• Experience using a multimeter or any electronic testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical and electronic repairs of conveyor machines, PLC systems, and other electromechanical production equipment.
• Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance, and installations on industrial machinery including belt/pulley systems, hydraulic and pneumatic components, motors, photo-eyes, relays, drive assemblies, limit switches, proximity sensors, and solenoids.
• Complete preventative maintenance according to industry quality standards.
• Respond to equipment breakdown or emergency situations.
• Utilize inventory, PM schedule, and work order systems to effectively reduce downtime.
• Maintain spare parts/supply inventory utilizing EAM.
• Evaluate and assess equipment problems by troubleshooting and completing repairs in a timely manner.
• Utilize a tablet to track assigned work and machine downtime as well as inventory used in repair.
• Perform all additional duties as required.
