Job summary

Pitney Bowes is seeking an onsite Industrial Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift at our Orlando, FL facility. Total hourly pay is $31.50, with a base of $29 plus a $2.50 shift differential and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ direct experience troubleshooting and repairing complex industrial mechanical equipment.
• Strong familiarity servicing conveyer machines, PLC systems, and other industrial electromechanical production equipment.
• Experience using a multimeter or other electronic testing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, charts, service manuals, and parts diagrams.
• Familiarity with Windows PC environment as it pertains to automated equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under deadline pressures.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical and electronic repairs of conveyor machines, PLC systems, and other industrial equipment.
• Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance, and installations on industrial machinery.
• Complete preventative maintenance according to industry quality standards.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns or emergencies.
• Utilize inventory, PM schedule, and work orders to reduce downtime.
• Maintain spare parts inventory using EAM.
