Job summary

Pitney Bowes Presort Services is seeking a Senior Industrial Maintenance Technician for an onsite 3rd shift in Levittown, PA. The role involves repairing and maintaining complex industrial equipment, including conveyors and PLC systems, with a focus on reducing downtime and improving efficiency.

You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and utilize EAM and tablets to track work orders and inventory.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years direct experience troubleshooting and repairing complex industrial mechanical equipment.
Familiarity with conveyor machines, PLC systems, and electromechanical production equipment.
Experience reading schematics, charts, service manuals, and parts diagrams.

Responsibilities

Perform complex mechanical and electronic repairs on conveyer machines, PLC systems, and other electromechanical production equipment.
Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance, and installations on industrial machinery including belt/pulley systems, hydraulic and pneumatic components, motors, relays, sensors, and solenoids.
Complete preventative maintenance according to industry quality standards; respond to equipment breakdowns or emergencies.
Utilize inventory, PM schedule, and work order systems to reduce downtime; maintain spare parts inventory in EAM.
Evaluate and troubleshoot equipment problems and complete repairs in a timely manner.
Use a tablet to track work, downtime, and inventory used in repairs.
