Job summary

Absolute Business Solutions Corp. seeks a Mid-Level Help Desk Technician to support the AFNCR ITS-2 program at Joint Base Andrews. You will coordinate IT incident response, triage issues, and communicate with government leadership to ensure timely resolution.

The role requires an active Secret clearance, DoD experience, and on-site work with a scheduled swing shift (Tue–Sat 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m.).

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Current CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Minimum years of DoD environment experience.
• Foundational understanding of network equipment and architectures.
• Experience supporting users through a help desk.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and classify major IT incidents and events.
• Serve as primary contact for triaging issues.
• Coordinate rapid response with internal and external teams.
• Establish troubleshooting conference bridges during incidents.
• Maintain communication with government leadership and stakeholders.
• Track incident status and resolution progress.
• Provide phone and in-person support for Windows desktop applications and hardware.
• Document incident activity and final resolutions.
